Laura graduated from Golden Gate University Law School and was admitted to the California bar in 1989, then admitted to the New York bar in 1993. Since 1990, her practice has focused primarily in the area of Workers' Compensation law representing injured workers and people
unable to work who are seeking
Social Security Disability.
With over 32 years of experience, Laura
provides world class representation and
consistently prompt service with
exceptional care.
Since 2000, Laura has been an active member of and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the IWBA (Injured Workers’ Bar Association) as the Regional Director for the Syracuse District.
Laura is also a member of a number of other professional organizations including the New York State Bar Association, Central New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association, and the California State Bar. Laura's law offices have been an Accredited Business by the Better Business Bureau since 2006, where she has consistantly maintained an A+ rating. The firm is a small one so that we are able to provide individual and personalized attention to you (unlike many firms where clients are passed between multiple attorneys & paralegals). Laura also believes it is important to give back to the community: she has constantly provided pro bono legal services, among other things, serving as an arbitrator to Onondaga County Bar Association for Part 137 Attorney Fee Disputes since 2006, volunteering to judge local high school and SU moot trial competitions. All consultations are free, confidential and without obligation. Attorney fees are awarded by the court on a contingency basis for workers' compensation & social security disability claims.
