About Laura -
Laura graduated from Golden Gate Law School and was admitted to the California bar in 1989, later admitted to the New York bar in 1993.
Since 1990, her practice has focused primarily in the area of Workers' Compensation law representing injured workers.
With over 36 years of experience, Laura provides
world class representation and consistently
prompt service with exceptional care.
Since 2000, Laura has been an active member of the IWBA (Injured Workers’ Bar Association). She serves as the Regional Director for the Syracuse District. Laura is a member of a number of other professional organizations including the New York State Bar Association, Central New York Workers' Compensation Bar Association, Onondaga County Bar Association, and the California State Bar. Laura's law offices have been Accredited Business by the Better Business Bureau for 20 years, where she has consistently maintained an A+ rating. The firm is small. That way we can provide individual and personalized attention to you (unlike many firms where you would be passed between a number of attorneys & paralegals). Laura believes it is important to give back to the community: she has provided pro bono legal services, among other things, serving as an arbitrator for the Onondaga County Bar Association for Part 137 Attorney Fee Disputes since 2006, volunteered on the board of directors for a non-profit day care center and volunteered to judge local high school and SU moot trial competitions. All consultations are free and confidential. You are under no obligation. Attorney fees are awarded by the court on a contingency basis for workers' comp claims.
